After becoming a teacher and inspiring children to follow their dreams, she decided to pursue one of her own. Now retired, she balances her time between her family, writing compelling stories, and editing for fellow authors.

Aleya currently lives in Baltimore, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children, and their two granddaughters. She is currently working on her next novel.
